Lafrance Hospitality Names Marketing Manager

Westport, MA - Lafrance Hospitality today announced that Merideth J. Milliner has joined the organization in the position of Marketing Manager.  Ms. Milliner will be responsible for developing and executing effective marketing programs for the restaurant/banquet division, as well as the hotels.  She will also assist in corporate initiatives, such ast the Community Cares program, designed to assist local not for profits.

Ms. Milliner holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.  She will obtain her M.B.A. in December, as she has one course to complete.  Her concentration was marketing research and social media.  While in graduate school, Merideth worked as a graduate assistant in The Center for Marketing Research.  All during school, Ms. Milliner worked in a service retail environment, rising to the position of Assitant Manager.

Merideth's interests include golf, teaching horseback riding lessons and traveling.  She is an advocate for local dog shelters, as well as helping equine rescures foster and rehome horses in need.  "We are delighted to have Merideth join our team" said Richard Lafrance, President and C.E.O.  "The addition of this position will strengthen our company's efforts as we move out of the recent difficult economy," he went on to say.
