These coupon booklets are available every year through different United Way agencies, as well as other deserving organizations. It is estimated that since their inception over 15 years ago, the Community Cares program has generated well over $250,000 to support programs throughout the area. The coupons are a collaboration between Lafrance Hospitality Company, WSAR, East Bay Newspapers, and the Pepsi Cola Bottling Company. READ MORE

Marriott Fairfield Inn & Suites Opens in New Bedford, MA

June 1, 2010 - Richard Lafrance, President and C.E.O. of Lafrance Hospitality, announced that the Marriott Fairfield Inn & Suites, located at 185 MacArthur Drive, New Bedford - the newest jewel in the hotel group, has opened ahead of schedule in New Bedford, MA. "Everyone involved in the project, from the general contractors, through to our new staff members, have given a tremendous effort to open the hotel in time to server the summer leisure travelers, as well as business clients," said Richard.
