Fairfield Inn & Suites New Bedford Completes $2 Million Renovation Project

New Bedford, MA (June 7, 2018) The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, located in Downtown New Bedford at 185 MacArthur Drive, has completed a $2 million renovation to its 106-room property. The project was led by Granite State Contract Furnishings and included a full refresh of the following spaces: reception desk, lobby, breakfast area, fitness center, meeting rooms, and all 106 guest rooms.

Owned and operated by Lafrance Hospitality, the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott New Bedford appeals to travelers who want to stay productive, balanced, rested and fit while away from home. Guest amenities include free hot breakfast, complimentary Wi-Fi, 24-hour business center, fitness center, and indoor pool and spa.

The biggest change guests will notice are the renovated guest rooms. Each room received new mattresses, linens, carpet, tile, wallpaper, and window treatments. They have been equipped with new microwaves and mini refrigerators, and all double beds have been upgraded to queen size mattresses. Guests will also notice the inviting new breakfast area, warm and light-filled lobby, updated meeting room, and brand-new fitness center equipment.

“Lafrance Hospitality is thrilled with the outcome of this project” says Tim Burkhardt, VP Hotels. “We continually strive to enhance the guest experience at our hotels, and this renovation is sure to accomplish that.”
