Hilton Garden Inn Fort Myers Completes Multi-Million Dollar Property Renovation & Celebrates Grand-Reopening and Ribbon Cutting

Fort Myers, FL October 13, 2021 – Hilton Garden Inn Fort Myers has completed a significant renovation of its 126-room hotel located at 12600 University Drive in Fort Myers. As part of the renovation, updates were made across the entire property such as the hotel lobby and common areas, all 126 guest rooms and suites, The Garden Grille and Bar on-site restaurant, and nearly 3,000 sq. ft. of event space across 4 meeting rooms. The total cost of the renovation project totaled close to $3 million and was completed by Granite State Contract Furnishings.

To celebrate and to show off the completed renovations, the Hilton Garden Inn Fort Myers hosted a Grand-Reopening & Ribbon Cutting Celebration on Wednesday, October 13th and invited members of the Fort Myers community and City Officials. Attendees enjoyed drinks and snacks provided by the hotel’s Head Chef Mark Benenati. Owner Richard Lafrance, General Manager Anthonia Smith, and Mayor Kevin Anderson said a few words followed by a ribbon cutting and donation presentation to Heidi Taulman of SWFL Children’s Charities.
