May 26, 2015 – Lafrance Hospitality Company is proud to announce that all eight of their eligible hotel properties received a TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence award for 2015. Now in its fifth year, the award celebrates excellence in hospitality and is given only to establishments that consistently achieve great traveller reviews on TripAdvisor.
Furthermore, Lafrance Hospitality Company is proud to recognize three of their properties who have been accepted into TripAdvisor’s newly established Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame: Holiday Inn Express – Milford, MA, Hampton Inn & Suites – Plymouth, MA, and Comfort Inn & Suites – Dover, NH. This unique accolade is granted only to those businesses that have won the Certificate of Excellence for five years in a row. These three properties have continuously been awarded the Certificate of Excellence for 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015.
When selecting Certificate of Excellence winners, TripAdvisor uses a proprietary algorithm to determine the honorees that takes into account the quality, quantity and recency of reviews and opinions submitted by travelers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period as well as business’s tenure and ranking on the Popularity Index on the site. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.

Lafrance Hospitality Company is also pleased to announce that The Galley Grille at White’s of Westport and Bittersweet Farm Restaurant and Tavern have also been awarded the 2015 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award. They are two out of three restaurants in the top ten restaurants in Westport, MA who have achieved this award.
